About Greenwood Lodge and Campsites
Offering You and Your Family a Friendly, Fun Experience!
Welcome to our Campground!
Our Story
Founded in 1960 by Ed, Greenwood was named for its location in the Green Mountains of Woodford, Vermont. Ed, Ann and Chris Shea have since continued to improve and maintain a welcoming place for guests who want to relax and explore the beauty, character and charm of Southern Vermont.
We are 8 miles East of Bennington and 32 miles West of I91 Exit 2 in Brattleboro. Our 40 campsites include 23 well-spaced pull-thru or back-in RV sites with water and electric and 17 campsites without water and electric. They are open, wooded or adjacent to woods. There are no sewer sites but there is a dump station. We are primarily a transient campground and therefore, do not take seasonal campers.
Come stay and explore Vermont and make memories that will last a lifetime. Review the rest of our website to learn more about what we offer.
